Duties
- Welcome customers and assist them in selecting eyewear frames and lenses that suit their style, lifestyle needs, and prescriptions.
- Learn to conduct eyewear fittings, precise frame adjustments, and minor repairs for optimal comfort.
- Learn to accurately measure, verify, and dispense spectacle lenses (we will teach you all the technical details!).
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and insurance options.
- Maintain customer data and scheduling using our store and clinic computer software systems.
- Keep the retail floor, display cases, and workspace clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Handle customer transactions accurately using our cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate closely with our eye doctors (Optometrists/Ophthalmologists) to ensure patients receive seamless care.
Requirements: What We Are Looking For:
- No Experience Required: Complete, paid, on-the-job training is provided.
- People First: Excellent customer service and communication skills; you enjoy interacting with a diverse group of people every day.
- Eager to Learn: A strong desire to learn the technical and medical aspects of eye care and optics.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems (for scheduling and sales transactions).
- Detail-Oriented: Good basic math and measurement skills for pricing, insurance, and frame fitting.
- Team Player: A reliable, positive attitude and the ability to collaborate well with a small team.

- Any prior experience in retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Any prior experience working in a medical, dental, or clinical office environment.
