Position Title: Summer Helper – Production (1st Shift)
Position Summary:
Wausau Tile is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Summer Helper to support production operations on 1st shift. This seasonal role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on manufacturing experience. The Summer Helper will assist with basic production tasks, material handling, and general labor duties while working independently or as part of a team under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with a variety of production and general labor tasks as needed.
- Support production setup, material handling, and basic assembly processes.
- Operate hand tools and assist with equipment under supervision.
- Help move, stage, and organize materials and finished products.
- Assist with basic finishing tasks to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive motions involving hands, arms, and back.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Mechanical aptitude or prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
