Position Overview:
Wausau Tile is hiring for the Polishing – Precast Concrete position. This role is responsible for polishing concrete and epoxy terrazzo products, including stair treads and risers, to meet high-quality finish standards. Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polishing:
Set up and operate pneumatic polishing tools with progressive grit pads. Apply consistent polishing techniques to meet finishing requirements. - Inspection:
Clean and inspect products post-polishing. Verify dimensions and surface quality using calipers, micrometers, and related tools. - Staging:
Handle and transport finished products using pallet jacks or carts. Stage items for additional processing, such as grouting or final inspection.
Tools & Equipment Used:
- Pneumatic polishers and abrasive polishing pads

- Material handling tools (pallet jacks, carts)
