Acid Washing- 3rd Shift

Position Summary:

Wausau Tile is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Acid Room & Booth Operators. This role is responsible for safely operating equipment to acid etch and wash products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently or with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading the Acid Room & Booth:
  • Operate a forklift to transport products to the acid room/booth per production schedules.
  • Coordinate with shift teams for smooth workflow and product handling.
• Acid Etching & Washing:
  • Set up and operate acid etching and washing equipment.
  • Adjust settings based on product specifications.
  • Wear required PPE, including powered air-purifying respirator, for safety.
• Product Staging:
  • Move products to staging areas for further processing or storage.
• General Maintenance & Clean-Up:
  • Perform routine clean-up tasks and maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist in other departmental tasks as needed.
