Scope of Work:
Fabricate and assemble engine/compressor and generators packages to meet WPI packaging Standards. Overhaul Compressor frames and cylinders.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Overhaul various compressor frames and cylinders
- Set and align coolers, install vessels, run screwed piping for engine utilities, install safety shutdowns, align engine to compressor
- Follow daily instructions from Foreman or Leaderman
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have 2-4 year(s) previous experience
- Must High School Diploma or equivalent
- Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Waukesha and other engine manufacturers
- Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Compressor Manufacturers
- Must be able to read P&IDs, General Arrangement and Skid Drawings
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
· Must have the ability to effectively operate a fork lift
· Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
