What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Technician - Cell Test (2nd Shift) position at WATT Fuel Cell?
Location: Mount Pleasant, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (1600–0030)
Position Summary
Love science, technology, and working with your hands? This might be the manufacturing job you didn't know you were looking for.
Forget what you typically picture when you hear manufacturing. At WATT Fuel Cell, our production environment brings together science, technology, specialized equipment, and hands-on work to develop and manufacture innovative fuel cell technology.
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our second-shift Cell Test team.
In this role, you'll support the testing, inspection, and evaluation of fuel cell components using specialized equipment and established testing procedures. You'll help monitor processes, document results, identify potential quality concerns, and ensure components meet established production standards.
Think less traditional factory floor and more of a combination of science lab, precision manufacturing, and technology. It's an environment where curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn go a long way.
You don't need a science degree or years of technical experience to succeed here. We're looking for individuals who enjoy figuring out how things work, take pride in doing things right, and aren't afraid to get hands-on with new equipment and processes.
If you've always enjoyed science, technology, or problem-solving but never pictured yourself sitting behind a desk all day, this could be a great fit.
