We’re looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably  and who is always looking for ways to make it better.

This role is hands-on and essential. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot the machines that keep production moving, while also identifying opportunities to improve performance, reduce downtime, and strengthen how we work.

You don’t just fix problems. You understand them, learn from them, and help prevent them from happening again.

The Orchard is where the work happens. Where raw materials become finished products, where problems are solved in real time, and where craftsmanship meets precision. The best maintenance work doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens on the floor- observing, asking questions, and understanding how equipment supports the work around it.

  • Use testing instruments (multimeters, etc.) to identify root causes
  • Inspect components and determine dimensional or functional issues
  • Adjust and align mechanical and electrical components to ensure proper function

Support Production Reliability

  • Minimize downtime by diagnosing issues quickly and accurately
  • Communicate with production teams on equipment use and preventive maintenance
  • Monitor and reinforce maintenance standards

Fabrication and Technical Work

  • Fabricate and modify repair parts using shop equipment
  • Support both mechanical and electrical repair needs with practical solutions

Inventory and Resource Management

  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory levels
  • Anticipate needs and support ordering and restocking
  • Use maintenance resources efficiently

Continuous Improvement and LEAN

  • Analyze equipment and system performance to identify inefficiencies
  • Implement improvements that enhance reliability and reduce downtime

  • Prepare reports that support troubleshooting and continuous improvement
  • Communicate clearly across shifts

Safety and Team Contribution

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Follow all procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contribute to team success wherever needed

What You’ll Need to Know

Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Ability to work with motors, wiring, and basic control systems

Strong mechanical maintenance and repair knowledge
