Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services.
  • Conduct upselling by identifying additional solutions that meet customer requirements, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Manage route driving efficiently to ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Price products accurately based on company guidelines, market conditions, and customer negotiations.
  • Handle automobile transportation logistics, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when loading or unloading merchandise.
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability across assigned routes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and DOT regulations during daily activities.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and management effectively.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, route schedules, and customer interactions for optimal organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles; military experience is a plus for discipline and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Familiarity with automobile transportation regulations and safe driving practices under DOT guidelines.
  • Strong math skills for accurate pricing, inventory management, and route planning.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently.
  • Organizational skills necessary for route driving, merchandising, and maintaining detailed records.

Pay: $40,236.39 - $55,521.24 per year
