Requirements:

Duties and responsibilities:
- Calculating, calendaring, and monitoring deadlines
- Greeting and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court reporters, court administrators, and other parties
- Scheduling and maintaining calendars
- Organizing and monitoring numerous ongoing and one-time activities, events and projects
- Logically solving problems with little supervision
- Preparing initial drafts of pleadings, letters, and other documentation
- Assisting with the collection, cataloging, numbering, and transmission of records through electronic systems (i.e., Outlook, ShareFile, etc.)
- Scanning, copying, and preparing records for discovery, including redaction and bates labeling
- Typing and transcription
- Electronic filing in court and other systems, including the ability to access and work within state, federal, and administrative tribunal electronic records systems (e.g., PACER, MEC, Mississippi PSC system)
- Invoicing and communicating with clients concerning billing
- Organizing and maintaining files

Education/Related Experience:
Requires 5 years of direct experience as a legal secretary and/or paralegal or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
