Business Office Manager:
This position requires prior experience working in the business office of a healthcare facility and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance billing and collections
Summary of Duties include:
- Prepares Insurance and private pay billing
- Sets up and maintains financial files for resident billing, admission papers, State and Medicare documents
- Performs routine collection calls to Managed Care carriers and responsible parties
- Follows up on outstanding balances, resolves issues and submits corrected claims when required
- Inputs documentation on all collection activity into point Click Care billing and collections software.
- Oversees resident personal finances through RFMS
- Prepares daily census
- Reviews Payor Source Verification forms and ensures the patients set-up in PCC is accurate
