Job location: Watertown, WI
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with routine maintenance repairs to equipment, building fixtures, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units as directed.
Perform basic carpentry, painting, and touch-up work throughout the facility.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
Assist in maintaining grounds, including snow/ice removal, lawn care, and external debris cleanup.
Respond to maintenance and repair requests promptly and communicate status updates when necessary.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
Help ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with furniture moves, equipment setup, and minor installations.
Support emergency response, including fire alarm testing, generator checks, and facility safety procedures.
Complete daily documentation and report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director/Supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced learning for this position is customarily acquired by a prolonged course of specialized intellectual instruction.
