Position Overview (Entry Level)
The Front Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and staff while supporting daily office operations. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and eager to learn in the fast-paced construction industry. The role provides administrative support to the team and helps maintain project documentation and office efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and handle incoming calls professionally
- Perform data entry and maintain organized job/project files
- Support project documentation and safety compliance
- Transcribe daily field reports
- Scan and upload documents into company systems
- Assist management and team with administrative tasks
- Manage calendars, track field staff activities, and attend meetings
- Support special projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of office or administrative experience required
- Familiarity with the construction industry is strongly encouraged
- Strong data entry, typing, and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and Google applications
- Ability to quickly learn company software and systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
