Job Description
We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and responsible team members to join our watersports rental team. This role involves assisting guests with jet ski and pontoon rentals, providing safety instruction, and ensuring everyone has a fun and safe experience on the water.
This is a hands-on, outdoor position where you will spend most of your time on the dock and around the water. If you enjoy boating, working with people, and being outside, this is a great opportunity to work in a fun environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear safety briefings and operating instructions for jet skis and pontoon boats
- Ensure all guests understand local boating rules and safety procedures
- Verify renters meet licensing and safety requirements before departure
- Assist customers with boarding, docking, and equipment operation
- Inspect watercraft before and after rentals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock and equipment
- Monitor rental returns and assist with safe docking
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a great guest experience
Requirements
- Valid Boater’s License (we will help you obtain if needed)
- Livery Operator’s License (required for instructing renters)
- Friendly, outgoing personality and comfortable interacting with guests from all backgrounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working on and around the water
- Ability to lift equipment and assist guests when needed
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous boating or watersports experience
- Experience in customer service or tourism
- Familiarity with jet skis, pontoon boats, and docking procedures
Work Environment
This is an outdoor position on the water. Team members should be comfortable working in the sun, around boats, and in a fast-paced environment during busy seasons.
