Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on construction sites.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and equipment needed for plumbing tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes according to schematics and blueprints.
- Support pipe threading, fitting, and soldering processes under supervision.
- Read basic blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layouts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction plumbing and general site operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team.
