Graphic Designer - Junior

Watermark Books & Café is currently seeking a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing design projects to effectively market our store, cafe, and events. The Junior Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with the marketing team and other key stakeholders within the organization to create and deliver a wide range of print and digital assets. This position is a great opportunity for a recent graduate seeking experience and growth in the designing field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create compelling marketing materials that align with the company's brand standards, including social media graphics, website banners, promotional collateral, event signage, and more.
• Collaborate with the marketing team in the development of marketing campaigns, both digital and print.
• Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, introducing new ideas and innovative design concepts.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience with web design and content management systems is preferred.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to receive and give constructive criticism.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
