Bookkeeper - Junior

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping duties including financial transactions entry in databases, verifying invoices, and preparing bank deposits.
• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system to ensure accurate financial data.
• Process payroll, accounts receivable and payable in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information for Month End.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times.
• Assist in budgeting and planning for financial goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. However, further education or qualifications in Business or Accounting are highly desirable.
• Prior experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a comparable business environment.
• Proficient in use of computer software including MS Excel, QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Adept at working with numerical data and producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
