We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Assist in coordinating the flow of service between the front of house and kitchen staff.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to manage orders and assist with billing as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Provide support to servers during busy periods by helping with drink orders or other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest relations or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable.
• A passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest services.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
