Now Hiring EXPERIENCED and active bartenders for our newly renovated restaurant in busy Lake George Village. Lake George Waterfront Lighthouse & Marina is hiring bartenders to service our 2 Lighthouse Grill Bars, the new Terrace Bar, and the Horicon & Adirondac Cruise Ships. This is a dynamic role that has growth and new challenges daily and for years to come.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Welcome and greet guests as soon as they are sat
• Memorize the menu along with recommendations and accommodations
• Become knowledgeable on all businesses included in Waterfront Hospitality: Cruises, boat rentals, parasailing and Saratoga rental properties
• Communicate with kitchen staff for prompt and correct orders
• Make suggestions based of customer preferences
• Help set up tables larger groups or special accommodations
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Upsell when appropriate: suggest add ons or upgrades
• Learn and accurately use the pos system to put in orders and cash out customers
• Correctly handle cash and payment methods
• Keep stations stocked and cleaned
• Help to keep restaurant up to health and safety standards
• Talk to a manager when there are issues out of your control
• Keep a positive attitude while also working in a fast pace environment
• Keep up with side work before, after and during your shift: cleaning, stocking and preparing the restaurant for the next shift
• Complete opening/ closing tasks as expected
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
• Inform guests about any upcoming events within Waterfront Hospitality
• 2 years of bartending experience REQUIRED
• Starting pay is $10.70 tips
