What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Dietary Aide position at WATERFALL CANYON ACADEMY?
The Program Dietary Aide is responsible to manage and organize their kitchen; prep, prepare, and serve meals; order food based on a provided menu; maintain a clean kitchen; and adhere to Health Department and Licensing Standards.

- Must be self-motivated and driven to plan ahead and adhere to the provided menu, serving meals on time.
- Must be able to read a recipe and make adjustments in order to prepare meals for up to 25 people.
- Be aware of student dietary needs, exclusions, allergies, and strictly adhere to them.
- Must have knowledge of or be willing to learn about how food/nutrition contributes to the overall well-being of a person.
- Must be willing to problem solve and contribute ideas and solutions to the overall team effort.
- Must be willing to identify any areas that need to be cleaned, disinfected, organized or maintained and follow provided checklists.
- Assure Health Department regulations are observed.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Interact positively with students and serve as an appropriate role model whenever you may be in contact with them.
- Demonstrate professionalism, maturity and dependability.
- Manage time and efforts efficiently, follow instructions, and complete delegated tasks.
- Follow employee code of conduct and comply with policies and procedures. Maintain current personnel file and attend all scheduled trainings and staff meetings.
- Physically able to manage tasks in multi-level buildings.
- Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
