What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Advisor (Full-Time) position at WATERFALL CANYON ACADEMY?
FULL-TIME COMMUNITY ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide structure and supervision for students
- Provide Skills Development Services for students per program requirements and schedule
- Be knowledgeable about program expectations and each student’s treatment plan/plan for success
- Effectively communicate with the treatment team orally and in written form
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, conflict resolution, and behavior monitoring
- Initiate, prepare for, and co-facilitate Plan for Success/Treatment Plan reviews
- Accurately document each student’s progress, interactions, participation, concerning behavior, etc.
- E-mail weekly updates to parents and team members
- Oversee student budgets
- Liaison for community resources, employers, educators, health care providers, etc.
- Help with shift coverage. On-call as needed
- Assist the Program Coordinator with urgent matters
