Water Tank Bakery creates wholesome bread, cookies, pastries and more.
Bread is the cornerstone of the bakery’s offerings, made the slow way with long fermentation, sourdough levain, and locally sourced ingredients. This process ensures the development of maximum flavor complexity, consistency, and exceptional eating experience.
All products are baked exclusively with NW grown. By taking advantage of produce and other ingredients available from local hard-working farmers and millers, Water Tank Bakery creates food that tastes of the unique abundance of the Skagit Valley.
We are looking to fill the following positions:
Bakery Retail Customer Service; This position is responsible for retail service at the bakery walk-up window, completing food preparation tasks, and product packaging.
Shifts: Friday 11am-7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
Bread Shaper; This position is primarily responsible for completing food preparation tasks, product packaging, cutting/shaping bread dough and cleaning the facility at the end of the day.
Shift: Fridays and Saturdays 12-8pm
Bread Baker;
This position is responsible for monitoring final proof and baking bread.
1 year professional baking/ culinary experience is preferred but not required

Other requirements:
· Be 18 years old with reliable transportation.
· Be able to lift 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift and work in 80 degree temperatures.
· Have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Have a current food service handling certification.
· Be able to demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics, including proportions/percentages.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
