Watch ME Shine is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work in our Bangor school.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) works alongside school leadership within a relationship-based early childhood learning environment. Rather than operating as an external consultant or clinic-based provider, the BCBA is embedded in daily classroom life—partnering with educators to design practical, developmentally appropriate supports that align with WMS philosophies and interventions that allow children ages 3–6 to fully participate in preschool routines.
This role balances direct assessment and program design with hands-on coaching of classroom staff, ensuring behavioral strategies are feasible, consistent, and respectful of each child’s developmental stage. The BCBA collaborates closely with families to build continuity between home and school and plays a key role in shaping a preschool culture that prioritizes regulation, communication, and independence over compliance-based intervention.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-moving early childhood setting, values collaboration over isolation, and views behavior support as a tool for inclusion, not exclusion.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Conduct behavioral and functional assessments appropriate for children ages 3–6 within a preschool early intervention environment
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior support and skill-building programs utilizing WMS methodologies and align with early childhood routines and developmental expectations
- Embed behavior-analytic strategies into classroom activities, transitions, play, and peer interactions rather than isolated therapy sessions
- Provide ongoing coaching, modeling, and feedback to classroom staff to ensure consistent and ethical implementation of behavior supports
- Supervise and support behavioral health professionals, teachers, or support staff as applicable, ensuring fidelity to behavior plans and professional standards
- Analyze data regularly to evaluate child progress and adjust interventions based on objective outcomes
- Support in treatment plan coordination and development,
- Collaborate with families to promote consistency between home and school environments and to support generalization of skills
- Participate in team meetings, program reviews, and planning sessions related to student support and program development
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and funding requirements
- Uphold BACB ethical standards and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive preschool culture

Qualifications:
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the BACB
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related field
