Duties
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being
- Implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic health care needs in accordance with health guidelines
- Support behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions and respectful behavior among children
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training is encouraged
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Classroom management skills to organize activities effectively while maintaining a safe environment
- Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and preschool curriculum development
- Ability to communicate clearly with parents, team members, and children to foster a collaborative atmosphere

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
