Position Summary
Our mission is to ensure our patients receive excellent care with a convenient, cooperative, and cost-effective atmosphere by providing experienced and efficient orthopaedic and surgical expertise. The Radiology Technologist, under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, provides high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional customer service to ensure positive patient experience. This position is cross trained to assist with clinical responsibilities as needed to support efficient clinic operations, continuity of patient care, and a collaborative team environment. The Radiology Technologist works closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver safe, accurate, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
· Associates of Allied Science or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science.
· Must be registered with the ARRT. Must have TN state license or be willing to apply for one.
· Computer proficiency with Windows and Outlook experience.
· Good decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
· Must be able to work independently.
· Must be able to report to work with limited advanced notice.
· Must be able to multi-task and be flexible to accommodate the needs of their department due to the ever changing healthcare field.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide patient-focused care in a team-oriented clinic environment.
· Prepare exam rooms, imaging equipment, and clinical supplies.
· Perform patient intake, obtain vital signs, and document information in the EMR.
· Perform and assist with imaging procedures, including patient positioning and patient education.
· Maintain clean, safe, and efficient exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
· Answer patient calls and assist with patient inquiries.
· Support clinic operations through cross-training and additional clinical duties as needed.
· Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
· Work independently while following established procedures.
· Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to meet clinic needs.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationship
The Radiology Tech reports to the Clinical Manager
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
