Overview:
Waste Eliminator is a leading, full-service waste services company offering critical disposal, recycling and environmental solutions operating 7 days a week. We ensure waste is disposed of in a cost-effective and sustainable manner while minimizing the impact on the environment. Waste Eliminator is seeking a Swing Driver to work with our Vac Truck and Roll Off Operations, serving customers in the Upstate SC Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of Vac trucks and equipment, along with experience with Industrial cleanup, along with Roll Off experience.

VAC TRUCK OPERATOR Duties:

• In this role, you'll use high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and contribute to various construction projects
• Operate hydrovac equipment and perform hydrovac duties in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces, industrial spills and industrial waste clean ups
• Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards
• Manual labor is part of the job, shoveling, lifting and moving hoses, etc.
• Complete daily paperwork and tablet obligations to the level of detail expected from continued training

ROLL OFF Duties:

• Operate a tandem axle, cable hook, roll off truck safely and efficiently to serve customers while adhering to all company, local, state, and federal regulations
• Complete daily tasks as dispatched by the supervisor
• Make decisions and problem solve within the parameters allowed that will best benefit the company and customer
• Be open to training, coaching, and improvement
• Communicate clearly and professionally to all customers, co-workers and contractors
• Complete daily paperwork and tablet obligations to the level of detail expected from continued training
• Follow all safety policies and perform in a way that minimizes risks

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• 2 years' experience with Vac Truck and/or Roll Off required;
• Occasional weekends, emergency calls and holiday availability.
• No automatic restrictions.
• Ability to operate a vac truck or roll off truck and equipment safely.
• Must be able to lift 100lbs.
• Ability to work in a Drug Free Workplace; must pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Be able to work in the Upstate area.
• Driving record must have no more than 3 violations in 5 years, no accidents in 3 years, and no disqualifications in 7 years;
• Must have strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
• Must pass all FMCSA requirements for operating a CMV in South Carolina.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Waste Eliminator offers a competitive pay, benefits, and safety incentive package. We pay on a weekly basis and overtime is paid at 1.5x regular rate after 40 hours. For this position, the starting hourly pay can range from $26 to $30, depending on experience.
