Site Attendant - Gualala, CA

Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc., a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Site Attendant out of their South Coast Transfer Station in Gualala, CA!

Schedule is Saturday - Wednesday 8AM-4:30PM.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour. Pay range for this job category is $21-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Greeting customers as they enter the transfer station, directing them where to go
• Overseeing daily tasks throughout the site, ensuring the transfer station is running smoothly
• Cash handling
• Assessing loads/material for payment at the scale house
• Ensuring all material entering the transfer station is appropriate.
• Traffic directing to ensure customers park in the correct area at the transfer station
• Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
• General site cleanup as needed
• Friendly customer service
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position.
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds in this labor-intensive position
• Experience operating equipment is a plus
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
• Ability to stand on your feet throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift.
