What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Waste Connections?
We are looking for a safety conscious Equipment Operator to join the team at Belton, SC Landfill.
In this position you will be operating equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, and off-road dump trucks. You will be responsible for routine inspection and maintenance on the equipment such as checking oil, water, and tires.
This is a day shift position with weekly overtime.
CDL License Preferred But Not Required
This is a physical job working outside in all weather conditions.

- Previous equipment operator experience preferred, especially dozers
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment cab repeatedly.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and grasp.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
