Schedule & Hours
- Monday – Friday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- End Time: 4:00 PM
- Shift Length: Typically 10‑hour days
- Weekly Hours: 45–50 hours per week
- Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes
- Become proficient in proprietary operational systems
- Analyze and resolve customer inquiries related to missed pick‑ups, misplaced containers, and property damage
- Assist drivers when pickup or delivery questions arise prior to service
- Schedule and dispatch work to various employees and departments throughout the day
- Demonstrate effective use of software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Deliver services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill
- Interact with customers daily in a high‑call‑volume environment
- Support the solicitation of new or additional services
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, cooperative team environment
- 2 years of dispatcher experience in a transportation or logistics environment preferred
- Strong typing skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
