Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customer service, operations, and other departments to resolve service issues and customer disputes.
- Investigate and resolve inquiries related to missed pick-ups, misplaced containers, and property damage.
- Support drivers by clarifying service details before pick-up or delivery.
- Schedule and dispatch work assignments throughout the shift.
- Utilize proprietary systems and demonstrate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Provide professional, courteous service that promotes customer satisfaction and goodwill.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with frequent customer interaction.
- Identify opportunities to promote additional services when appropriate.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of dispatcher experience in transportation or logistics preferred.
- Experience with live dispatch operations and coordinating drivers.
- Experience creating and managing driver schedules.
- Familiarity with driver coaching/telematics tools such as 3rd Eye, Lytx, and DriveCam.
- Strong typing and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be bilingual, with English/Spanish required for this role.
