Club Scikidz Queens Summer Camp is seeking a responsible and energetic Site Director to lead our STEM-focused summer camp in Queens.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily camp operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment for all campers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily camp operations and ensure smooth program execution
- Supervise and support camp staff and counselors
- Ensure compliance with NYC DOHMH summer camp regulations
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios at all times
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
- Communicate with parents and respond to concerns professionally
- Handle emergencies and implement safety procedures when needed
- Coordinate daily schedules, activities, and transitions
✅ Qualifications
Applicants must meet NYC Summer Camp Director requirements, including:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must meet at least one of the following:
- Minimum 2 years experience working with children and 1 year in a supervisory role, OR
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education, recreation, or a related field, OR
- Minimum 3 years of camp experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage staff and ensure child safety
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Teaching experience or background in education
- Experience in STEM programs, robotics, or youth enrichment
- CPR and First Aid certification

- Must be able to complete:
- SCR clearance (child abuse registry check)
- Background check
- Must be available for the full camp season (July)
Pay: $24.45 - $29.44 per hour
