🛠️ Diesel Mechanic – Heber Springs, Arkansas
You’ll keep our fleet of garbage trucks running strong by:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
You’ll keep our fleet of garbage trucks running strong by:
- Handling repairs, inspections, and safety checks
- Diagnosing and fixing electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systems
- Using vehicle computer systems to troubleshoot and adjust engine controls
- Reviewing and completing driver inspection reports
- Logging work in fleet maintenance software
- Test-driving trucks after service
- Pitching in with teammates and keeping the shop clean
- Interacting professionally with drivers
- Taking on other duties as assigned
- 3 years of diesel or heavy truck maintenance experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
- Basic tool set (we help with a monthly allowance)
- Hydraulic experience is a plus
- ASE certification is a plus
- Class A or B CDL is a plus
- $200/month tool allowance
- Annual boot stipend
