Ukiah Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Carton Sorter to join our team in Ukiah, CA!
The schedule will be Monday-Friday 4:00AM, working 8 to 10 hour shifts.
Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-$21 per hour.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Sorting and pulling cartons through material on the sorting line
- Cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the area.
- Heavy lifting throughout shift.
- Traffic management.
- Operating machinery and equipment.
- Working outside in all weather conditions.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time and in different weather and environmental conditions.
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
- Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise
- Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
