Our administrative team is just as mission-driven as our educators, and we are excited to offer an opportunity for emerging professionals to learn alongside us.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our dynamic Talent & HR Team. This role offers hands-on experience in the administrative operations of a school, including recruitment, talent management, HR compliance, benefits, and policy development. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in human resources, talent development, or education administration.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviewsSupport onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employeesHelp maintain and update employee records and documentationContribute to drafting and editing HR policies, handbooks, and internal communicationsAssist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives and trainingsParticipate in benefits administration tasks, including tracking enrollments and open enrollment prepHelp support compliance efforts by organizing files and assisting with auditsAttend HR team meetings and contribute to strategic talent initiativesConduct research to support HR best practices and recommend improvementsWhat You'll Gain:Full-Spectrum HR ExperienceReal-world exposure to the inner workings of a school-based HR teamMentorship from professionals in education and HR leadershipExperience with talent systems, policy development, and benefits administrationA deeper understanding of how HR functions within a mission-driven school/Non-Profit settingQualifications:Interest in Human Resources, Education Administration, or Organizational DevelopmentStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionAttention to detail and a proactive mindsetProficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university programFluency in mandarin (Preferred)Compensation & Support:This is an unpaid internship position$80/month public transit stipend providedFlexible hours (10–20 hours/week) based on intern's availability
