Job Description
As a Healthcare Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to engage regularly with healthcare professionals in the Montgomery, Prince George's, and DC areas. Your daily responsibilities will include supporting the promotional efforts of Washington Vascular Specialists and the PAD Awareness Program. You will be involved in providing in-services and attending health fairs to explain our vascular services and programs while also developing new accounts. Additionally, it is essential to maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of vascular diseases and treatments to ensure you can serve as a reliable source of information for healthcare professionals in your territory.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare sales is required.
- Experience in managing a team of ABI Technicians is necessary.
- Candidates must have an established network within the community.
- Familiarity with primary care, podiatrists, and geriatricians is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet established goals is essential.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are a must.
- Proficiency in applying a variety of traditional and non-traditional problem-solving techniques to creatively address issues and improve performance is important.
- Candidates should be able to build rapport and develop relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (e.g., MDs and office staff) at all levels, being aware of their needs and responding appropriately.
- Highly effective organizational skills are required.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, is necessary.
- Candidates must be able to pass background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screenings.
- This position requires travel; therefore, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
