Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT)is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to guide and oversee the Multi-Agency Permit Program within the Compliance Solutions Branch of the Headquarters Environmental Services Office (ESO). In this role, you will advance WSDOT's strategic priorities, ESO's Business Plan, and agency policy by delivering coordinated, efficient, and predictable environmental permitting services in alignment with RCW 47.85.020. The Multi-Agency Permit Program Supervisor will lead and supervise a team responsible for project-level permitting support, statewide general environmental permits, workforce development and training, and supporting agency permitting policy and procedures. You will work closely with regulatory agencies, project teams, and managers across WSDOT to streamline processes, strengthen partnerships, and deliver practical, solutions-oriented outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in environmental permitting, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-agency issues and environments with clarity and confidence.
