This role has a focus on managing our bar and our bar staff.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including dining room, bar, and kitchen coordination
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Bar ordering and inventory
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development
Guest Experience
- Maintain a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Build relationships with regular patrons and the local community
Financial Performance
- Manage budgets, labor costs, and inventory to meet financial goals
- Cocktail and drink menu creation to promote sale growth
- Oversee cash handling, reporting, and daily financial operations
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Collaborate on promotions, events, and seasonal offerings
- Maintain an active presence in the White Bear Lake community
- Support brand consistency across in-house and digital platforms
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a full-service setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to drive sales and manage costs effectively
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and bar operations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
