What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Facilities position at Washington Nationals?
The Facilities Coordinator will be given the unique opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable insight into the day-to-day workings of a Ballpark Operations Department. They will be an integral game-day point-of-contact for a variety of inter-departmental and extra-departmental requests and support the entire department in the successful implementation and management of game-day operations and events. The Facilities Coordinator will primarily support game-day operations and the facilities readiness needs within the department. He/she will receive a diverse experience while also contributing greatly to the department’s effectiveness in running a world-class facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage game-day facilities checklists.
- Oversee game-day setups and activations.
- Provide support in managing, and create reports for, service order completion rates, facilities checklist timelines and lighting readiness checks.
- Research and propose sustainable initiatives to support the ballpark’s green program.
- Assist with all administrative activities and related requirements for the facilities department.
- Manage special projects in support of facilities department.
- Manage radio inventory and associated equipment.
- Assist with vouchers and all paperwork for vendors, reports, proposals, etc. for the facilities department.
- Assist with deliveries and recycling pickups
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related field.
- 2 years of administrative experience or experience in construction or property management. Experience at a sports or entertainment venue strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions;
- Strong organizational skills.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet manipulation.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and ability to take direction is a must
- Ability to create well-researched, data-driven and analytical reports.
- Requires working on weekends and evenings on a regular basis.

Physical/Environmental Requirements
- Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights. Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
Compensation:
The projected wage rate for this position is $19.35 - $25.00 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
