Facilities Coordinator

FACILITIES COORDINATOR Passion City Church DC OBJECTIVE To help carry out the mission of Passion City Church, that we are: for God, for people, for the city, and for the world. We are seeking a dependable and proactive Facilities Coordinator to support the overall care, functionality, and readiness. This role is hands-on and focused on creating a distraction-free, welcoming environment for our church family and guests. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, teachable, and have a servant-hearted approach to work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support facility setup and breakdown for Sunday gatherings, midweek events, and ministry activities Help ensure the building is clean, organized, and ready for use (including restocking supplies and general upkeep) Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting for minor facility issues Assist with vendor coordination and site access for contractors or service providers Provide in-person support for events by assisting with logistics, signage, and space management Help maintain safety standards by identifying hazards and reporting any facility-related concerns Manage inventory across storage facilities to optimize efficiency through tracking and organization Support print or physical material setup and signage distribution before gatherings or events This job description in no way states or implies that the ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are the only responsibilities of this position. WORK SCHEDULE Flexible – Will vary based on event needs. Must be available for Sunday gatherings and some evenings or weekends.
