Role Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee the HR functions for our property. This full-time, on-site role, based in Herndon, VA, will involve managing HR policies, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, assessing performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include developing policies, leading recruitment efforts, addressing employee concerns, and collaborating with management on strategic organizational goals and workforce planning. The HR Director will also drive efforts to ensure that team members are engaged and supported in their career development.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Human Resources (HR) management and strategy
- Strong knowledge of HR Policies and best practices
- Experience with Employee Relations and addressing workplace concerns
- Proficiency in Performance Management, including employee reviews and feedback processes
- In-depth understanding of Labor and Employment Law
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive and positive work environment
- Relevant HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) and a bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field are highly desirable
