Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours.
- Greet guests warmly and seat them when necessary.
- Take accurate orders, serve guests while they are in the dining area, and replenish as necessary.
- Clean the service area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet as needed, Empty garbage if necessary. Clean tables in-between guests.
- Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly.
- Provide customers with condiments upon request.
- Address guest questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment. Transport clean and soiled linen as required.
- Follow all Marriott brand standards of service.
- Operate the electronic micros system (where applicable).
- Each associate is expected to complete, within their ability, all reasonable requests by management.
