Corrections Trainee / Corrections Officer

Performs a variety of entry level certified or non-certified duties related to the security, safety, order, operation and maintenance of county jail facilities including detention and monitoring of inmates.
Full-Time, with Benefits
Corrections Trainees start at $26.00 per hour, increase to $31.21 per hour once certified (typically within the first 8-12 months of employment)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from High School or GED.
- Must be at least 19 years of age by 04/09/2026

PT Requirements:
- Run 1.5 miles in 16:11, 14 push-ups (continuous exercise), hold a plank position for 30 seconds (replaces sit-up requirement)
