Company Description
WashCo Bikes is a non-profit bicycle organization that operates a full-service bike repair shop. We refurbish donated bicycles or recycle those beyond repair and offer them for a reasonable sale price. Our mission extends to giving bicycles to children, adults, and veterans through the Adopt-a-Bike program. We also run Summer Bike Camps for kids aged 8-13 years and offer commuter courses and advanced classes to prepare for certification by the League of American Bicyclists.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bike Shop Manager, located in Hillsboro, OR. The Bike Shop Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, including overseeing staff, handling customer service, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. Tasks include inventory management, organizing and facilitating bike donations, and supervising bike repair and refurbishment processes. The role also involves coordinating community outreach programs and educational initiatives.
Qualifications

- Operations Management and Store Management skills
- Experience in providing an excellent customer experience
- Ability to manage staff and volunteers effectively
- Knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in non-profit management is beneficial
- Must be willing to work weekends (preferably Wednesday thru Sunday)
