We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team, assisting at both our Olympia and Puyallup locations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will receive training to become a registered medical assistant, providing both direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting. This role requires travel between our Olympia and Puyallup clinics.
Key duties include:
- Rooming patients for exams (recording medical history, vital signs, and necessary charting).
- Assisting with follow-up care, including triage calls, medication management, DME dispensation, referrals, medical records, and inventory.
- Performing front office duties such as patient check-in, collecting co-pays, and scheduling appointments.
More than 80% of our medical assistants and scribes advance to medical, PA, or nursing school.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willing to train .
- Must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel between clinic locations.
- Pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana) and background check required.
