Duties

• Assist in the preparation and layout of construction sites by reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing.
• Install rebar, metal studs, and framing components following detailed schematics and specifications.
• Mix and pour concrete using mixers or pumps; perform concrete finishing to achieve smooth surfaces.
• Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, and tile laying for various structures.
• Support roofing tasks such as shingle installation or metal roofing; perform restoration and renovation work as needed.
• Handle heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites to move materials or prepare foundations.
• Perform caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, and other finishing tasks to ensure quality craftsmanship.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities; assist with construction estimating when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly.

Experience

• Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various trades including masonry, carpentry, roofing, or restoration.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading detailed blueprints or schematics.
• Skilled in operating power tools, heavy machinery, and heavy equipment such as cranes or mixers.
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, pouring, pumping, and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall installation, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and welding is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during renovation or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
