About the Employer
The Wasco Union Elementary School District serves over 3,650 students in grade levels pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 1940, the district is comprised of four elementary schools and two middle schools. The district strives to provide a rigorous and supportive educational program, strong community partnerships and high levels of parental involvement. Our mission is to provide all students an education which promotes lifelong learning, an appreciation for diversity, and responsible citizenship. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of California Administrative Credential Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) Five or more years of successful administrative experience Successful experience working with parent groups and community agencies Experience planning and implementing professional development in a large group setting Demonstrated ability to conduct technical writing Understanding of State and Federal Categorical Programs Possession of a private vehicle, valid California driver’s license, and current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage Demonstration of high moral and ethical standards Understanding of, and engagement with, the city of Wasco and all support services available to the community.
