We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set up and sanitized before and after each guest's visit.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing surfaces as required.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of supplies or ingredients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Familiarity with fine dining service is a plus, but not required.
- Strong math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
