What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Line Packer position at Warwick Publishing?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Line Packer is responsible for taking live jobs through their final assembly and packaging operations as they pertain to Warwick's workflow. They are also responsible for assisting the customer service department with order troubleshooting, rush prioritization, and non-standard issues relating to their department.
Daily tasks revolve primarily around assisting the primary operators of automated and manual finishing equipment with loading and unloading product from the machines as well as ensuring that product is correctly packaged and prepared for shipment. Occasional material movement is also required.
This position's responsibilities are not unique; they are shared between the other members of the Automated and Manual Assemble and Finishing team. This is an entry-level position and has opportunity for advancement.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with seasonally-available OT.
What You’ll Do:
- Pack finished products into boxes quickly and accurately
- Inspect items for quality before packing
- Label and stack boxes for shipping
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures
- Monitor product at their stage of production for defects or other quality issues
- Assist Customer Service Department in order troubleshooting
