What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional - Media (High School) position at Warsaw Community High School?
Reports to: Coordinator of Library Services/High School Librarian
General Summary: The Paraprofessional - Media WCHS maintains student documents from all schools and provides them as requested. The Paraprofessional - Media WCHS also supports the 1:1 program at WCHS while assiting students and staff as they utilize the High School Media Center.
Essential Functions:
- Computer skills including scanning, iPad troubleshooting, Destiny, Microsoft Office, Eduphoria, and Google Docs.
- Library cataloging and circulation.
- Assists High School Librarian as specified.
- Maintains district student records.
- Supports High School staff members and students as they utilize the Media Center.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of digital literacy standards
- Experience engaging students in robust learning opportunities
Length of Position: 38 Weeks/ Year 37.5 Hours/Week
Position Type: Non-Exempt
