Reports to: Coordinator of Library Services/High School Librarian
General Summary:
The Paraprofessional - Media WCHS maintains student documents from all schools and provides them as requested. The Paraprofessional - Media WCHS also supports the 1:1 program at WCHS while assiting students and staff as they utilize the High School Media Center.
Essential Functions:
Computer skills including scanning, iPad troubleshooting, Destiny, Microsoft Office, Eduphoria, and Google Docs.
Library cataloging and circulation.
Assists High School Librarian as specified.
Maintains district student records.
Supports High School staff members and students as they utilize the Media Center.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of digital literacy standards
Experience engaging students in robust learning opportunities
Length of Position:
38 Weeks/ Year 37.5 Hours/Week
