What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Transportation - Part Time position at Warriors Heart?
Warriors Heart is growing and is expanding our Transportation Team! We are looking for a Part time transportation to add to our team!
Warriors Heart is a residential treatment facility dedicated to serving our military, law enforcement, firefighters and 1st responders.
The primary responsibility of the driver is to transport clients to and from various locations. Locations may include but not limited to: airport pick-up/drop-off, hospital pick-up/drop- off, transporting clients to and from the gym, recreational groups, and specially approved appointments.
All transporting of staff and clients must be by the safest means; ensuring the upmost safety for staff, clients, and vehicle.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of transportation experience
- Must be open to supporting a 24 x 7 environment
- Able to work under pressure and communicate effectively
- Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language
- Valid Drivers License in good standings
Responsibilities (includes but not limited to) :
- Pick-up and drop-off clients where needed (airport, hospitals etc.).
- Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
- Ensure the safety of driver and passengers (seat belts etc.).
- Transportation: airport, detox, appointments, hospital, doctor office, outside meetings, store runs, rec groups and other client/company transportation requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the interior of the vehicle. This may consist of instructing client’s whose duty it is to maintain van. This may include but not limited to: emptying trash, cleaning windows, and removing discarded items such as clothing, sport instruments, and workbooks.
- Must obey all traffic laws.
- No cell phone use while driving
- Read, understand, and follow the company Policy Manual.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
